Amerikablock, part of the redevelopment FLuor Schalkwijk, is currently under construction.
The Amerikablock will form an urban transition between the busy Europaweg and the new lush and green residential area focused around the transformation of the former Fluor building.
The Amerikablock, containing 150 rental units, will shield of sound to make this tranquil and lush area possible and will connect it to the surroundings with large entrance spaces.
The complex is divided into 3 towers which are all connected by twin story Townhouses.
The block has a sturdy and robust character towards the busy road and gradually refines towards the lush Fluor zone.
In this way the concept of ZUS, which is to realize a city between trees, a calm and green residential area will be realized.
